Classes

The timetable is updated annually on April 1st. Concours rehearsals, guest teacher workshops, contemporary lessons, Nico Dojo training and Junior variation lessons are announced every month.
During performance year, we may also schedule weekend rehearsals.

※ Pianist accompaniment fees of 2500 yen per month are included in the monthly fee.

Pre-Ballet

Students must attend lessons once a week.

There are 2 levels

  • PB1  (3-5 years old)
  • PB2 (4-6 years old)

  • A given number of steps to be mastered from The Russian Ballet Society syllabus.
  • Consistent Terminology.
  • Musical Appreciation.
  • Rhythm.
  • Live Piano Accompaniment.
  • Stretch.
  • Mime and Presentation.
  • Instructions in English.
  • SJIBS Performance every 2 years.

Primary and Junior

Students must attend lessons twice per week. Up to four lessons per week are optional. For those students wishing to represent our school in competitions, or for those students who wish to attend workshops or intensive courses nationally and internationally, lessons four times per week are a necessary requirement.
